THIS BOOK IS NO LONGER FOR SALE.

I explain why my family stopped the VAD Diet HERE. It can have far-reaching negative consequences. Please do your own research.

It’s a challenge to keep kids healthy these days. We’re bombarded with processed foods, medications, pesticides, EMFs, chemicals, and more. Not to mention our fast-paced life with little time to cook. It’s no wonder we’re finding it more and more difficult to get kids to eat well and feel good.

It used to be enough just to swap processed foods with real food. But these days it takes more. The rates of childhood diseases continue to increase exponentially.

Many parents are turning to healing diets and supplements to help their children function better.

But what if some of those healing diets are causing more harm than good? What if your child’s multi-vitamin is toxic? What if something as simple as eating lots of carrots is causing your son’s stomach aches and eczema? What if even the water you drink is causing your daughter’s ADHD?

Turns out those are all very possible!

New research is showing that there is a toxin in our lives disguising itself as a nutrient: Vitamin A.

I explain all of the ins and outs of Vitamin A Toxicity HERE. It has become so prevalent and most people aren’t even aware that it exists! Some of the symptoms include:

  • Drowsiness
  • Irritability
  • Abdominal pain
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Increased pressure on the brain/headaches
  • Blurry vision or other vision changes
  • Swelling of the bones
  • Bone pain
  • Poor appetite
  • Dizziness
  • Sensitivity to sunlight
  • Dry, rough skin
  • Itchy or peeling skin
  • Cracked fingernails
  • Skin cracks at the corners of the mouth
  • Mouth ulcers
  • Yellowed skin (jaundice)
  • Orange skin (carotenemia)
  • Hair loss
  • Respiratory infection
  • Confusion
  • Softening of the skull bone
  • Bulging of the soft spot on the top of an infant’s skull
  • Double vision

And that is only a partial list! For far too long we’ve been treating these symptoms without getting at the root cause.

So now what?

I’m here to help!

It is possible for your child to recover. And it doesn’t have to be complicated!

I shared a short introduction to the Vitamin A Detox Diet HERE.

Whether you are ready to jump in head first or you just want to dip your toes in and learn more I created a resource for you!

The Vitamin A Detox Diet for Kids! explains the diet, which foods are allowed, what the detox process is like, how to speed up or slow down detox, and more.

I also included a whole section of recipes to get you started. The VAD Diet is not super restrictive. But it will require a mindset shift and will likely change some of your go-to meals.

We still enjoy mac ‘n’ cheese, tacos, pizza, and ice cream…they’ve just been tweaked a bit.
