I posted my apple pie recipe when I first started my blog. I finally made one yesterday, so I now have a picture to go with it 🙂 I decided to attempt the lattice top. I’ve never done that before. I was in a rush because Rebecca was getting hungry, but it still turned out ok. There are some dark spots on top. It’s just because I sprinkled a little sugar on top…it didn’t burn. Maybe I’ll make a dutch apple pie soon so I can get a picture of that too.
It looks great! Did you use your apple peeler again? Bet it sped the pie process up a lot, too!
Yep. I love that thing! I can’t believe I used to do all my canning and baking without it 😛
